Lean & Six Sigma Certification
The Georgia Tech Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (GT IISE) hosts both Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt Certification Courses each semester. These courses are provided at a special rate for all students (any Major). Additionally, alumni/professionals can register to attend.
Due to these challenging times, both Spring 2021 courses are provided in an online, on-demand format at a heavily discounted price for all students. Students of any major can sign up for these courses.
Course Descriptions
Lean
As a Lean Green Belt, you will be equipped to map process flow and identify activities that add value from a customer's perspective. For today's industrial engineer, lean training is MANDATORY for success.

Six Sigma
Learn how to integrate principles of business, statistics, and engineering to achieve tangible results in IISE's course. At Six Sigma Green Belt, you will be equipped to support and champion Six Sigma implementations in any organization.
This introductory course will give you a thorough understanding of Six Sigma and how to eliminate defects through fundamental process knowledge. You'll be able to quantify the critical issues in a company and then apply statistics to provide probabilities of success and failure.

Course Details
Course registration period will run through Feb 24th and the courses will start on Feb 26 (Six Sigma) & Feb 27 (Lean).
Once the course starts, you will have 6 months to complete the course and take the online exam. The certification exam is open note and open book with a time limit, and you will have two opportunities to pass the exam.
